This line of research examines best practices in addressing the older correctional population. This includes best practices for geriatric inmates, the use of geriatric parole as an effective release mechanism, and the impact of mass incarceration on the elderly population. Current research addresses release mechanisms utilized during the COVID pandemic and its impact on the aging correctional population (coming soon).
